Not much to complain about in that half. Keep the throttle wide open in the second half

No disrespect to Brentford (or to our good first half performance) but Brentford are ravaged with injuries and are there for the taking, we should be comfortably winning this by the time the final whistle blows, the fact that it is indeed so close is still quite a concern for me tbh.
Should go on to win by 2 or 3. Can only beat who’s in front of you. But I wouldn’t read too much in to this game with Brentford having 9 injured & no Toney. Going to be a long tough season for them.
But at least we are playing positively & with speed & confidence. They are there for the taking so I am confident in victory.
The main worry is even against a weakened Coventry & Brentford, we seem to give away so many chances with poor play at the back.

Spoken to Berg directly have you?

It’s your opinion and a bad one at that!
Objectively, you're wrong. You willfully ignore the heinous abuse Vicario meted out to one of our youngest players, Bergvall. It was both unwarranted and an egregious breach of our code of conduct. Vicario's conduct, attitude, and revolting personality is our club's shame.

Sooner he is out, the better. I hope Bergvall doesn't sue the club.

Calm down mate fucking hell, it was an observation, I have already said that was a fantastic first half if you actually cared to look.

Being concerned about us not finishing them off while we are dominant isn't me failing to take enjoyment from the game, it's an obvious issue considering how it has happened numerous times and has bit us on the arse before.

Bit of a nonsense post on your behalf quite frankly.
Fair point your post wasn’t the worst.

Best final third play I've seen from Spurs in a very long time. Maddison has been absolutely brilliant.

So pleased for Johnson.
Yeah we're looking more threatening than I've seen us for quite a while. Weirdly we're the opposite of peak Joséball where we'd just get the ball up to Kane and Son and let them work some clinical magic.

Get clinical again and we'd be scoring bucketloads.

Yeah Solanke is probably one of the best forwards in the league for chasing long balls and muscling defenders, so we may as well make use of that every now and then. He will win a fair share of lost causes or get opportunities for other forwards from knock downs.

other than set pieces our other fatal flaw for conceding goals is unforced errors primarily due to the keeper/defence faffing about. Playing the ball long when under pressure not only negates this risk, it also gives us a chance to create something ourselves.

They caused City big issues the week before. Also with an early goal.
