But at least we are playing positively & with speed & confidence. They are there for the taking so I am confident in victory.
The main worry is even against a weakened Coventry & Brentford, we seem to give away so many chances with poor play at the back.

Yeah I think we will win for sure, feeling very confident but you're right, the amount of chances we give up will mean unless we bury them early doors, they will have an opportunity.

People getting offended by facts and saying I can't take pleasure in the game because I am not behaving like we are all of a sudden world beaters for being 2-1 up at home to Brentford for fuck sake lol.

Some of us are capable of actually being realistic, doesn't mean I am not taking pleasure in seeing us win, I hope we smash the fuck out of them.

No one is saying we are world beaters but it has been another good performance and we are playing with a lot more intent. Brentford have been to the Etihad and Anfield and given both a game. Everyone predicted a tough game and we conceded after 25 seconds and seen a great reaction. Just hope we can keep it up and get the result.

He’s been ok when the play has been in front of him, because Maddison is doing all the work, dropping deep to transition from deep and being a 10/8 when it’s in their half. But there are times when we have the ball in our third/half and if we can play out quick we can turn Brentford and get Johnson or Son isolated but when Vicario or the CB’s are looking for that out ball, where Bissouma shows and is press resistant, Bentancur doesn’t want it under pressure so hides. It’s crucial to what we want to do. It played a part in Vicario getting caught on the ball, Bissouma gives him an out ball there.
 
Albeit the cross never arrived, it was nice to see 3 players waiting in the penalty area. All too often we either only have 1 player or none at all in the box
