Good job. Fighting performance, even if there were some ropey moments.

The Vic rollercoaster ride from gk genius to bell end continues.

Big up to Johnson and Solanke.

Lovely win and glad for Solanke and Johnson who both played very well.

On the Vic handball it's not a red is it hence why VAR can't get involved? The two times he touched it to stop the Brentford player getting the ball he was in the box, the third touch there's no danger so it should have been a yellow and a free kick?

Very satisfying to watch us move to play on the counter late in the half also hopefully a sign a plan B is being developed

This is based on absolutely nothing other than a feeling..

But unless you're an alien team like Man City or peak Barcelona. I have to bet that there is a goldilocks zone of posession. An amount where it's enough for you to have "control".. But not so high that there isn't some give and take in the game allowing for space in behind the attack.
I am aware of that, I am not claiming it as fact, it's hopeful and optimistic because I want to view things positively and give the manager the benefit of the doubt after being so critical of him this season.

That doesn't mean my overall opinion on him has changed but I would like for us to kick on from here because it benefits us all if it does work out and he does adapt.

I also agree about what you're saying in regards to possession based football and the "goldilocks zone" that is certainly a thing and conceding possession sometimes can be massively beneficial to creating space behind the opposition.

Excellent performance tbh. Could have had 5 or 6 goals overall with a few better decisions. Thought Maddison was excellent, his best performance in a very long time.

Brentford aren't a rubbish team and at times we made them look pretty average. City last week didn't even make them look that bad and tbh Brentford probably could have got something out of the City game.

2 wins on the bounce. European nights coming up. COYS
