Match Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea <removed>s

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Don't talk crazy, even if we lose this we will be around the top four still, having only lost three games to Chelsea and Utd all season with half the season to go. We only have an outside chance of the title, we are really going for a top four finish, which will still be very achievable.

Compare that to Chelsea who play a potential record breaking game against us, want to maintain their momentum, have to win to keep Liverpool from getting too close (a draw would keep Liverpool exactly where they are, just 6 points behind with half a season to go including a head-to-head game), and Chelsea have to play two more massive games against title rivals over the next month. It's the biggest game of their season. Oh, and they are away from home where they hardly ever beat us.

The other thing is that just like last season when they played us, a draw was a win for them, same here. We will play for the win, but if we draw we halt their record and their momentum. A draw is a better result for us than it is for them. I am confident of getting at least a point.

Also, I think a lot of us will be gutted with a draw despite their run.
Compare that to them celebrating Leicesters title like they had actually achieved something that season.....coming 10th after spending a billion quid on a squad, and going all out like they had just done the quadruple because they drew 2-2 with Spurs.

Shambles

"Four Chelsea football fans will go on trial in Paris on Tuesday charged with racist violence after a black commuter was pushed off a Métro carriage by a group of football supporters chanting: “We’re racist, we’re racist, and that’s the way we like it.”
"All four had denied racist behaviour."

I find it hard to see their defence here

Banter!

Seriously, I hope they not only throw the book at them, but take them to Paris to throw 'em off the fucking Metro as well! See how they like it!

Vile Filth!

CANNOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW!

I suppose they could claim they were being ironic which doesn't quite work as how on earth would a bystander know. Don't know anything about French 'hate laws' but expect them to be pretty harsh. People have gone to prison for being anti-semitic or denying the holocaust in France for example. The one who pushed the guy claims he didn't chant the song. He probably didn't chant it. Again I don't know what that means for him. It would be battery, a very minor offence, in this country.

Chelsea fans aren't intelligent enough for irony. It';s time that the FA started punishing team's for their racist fans with points deductions - would be funny to see Chelsea stay midtable for a few years and West Ham relegated.

Does it make us small time to say I'm having a 'Cup Final' feeling about Wednesday??

I know it won't make-or-break our season... or theirs probably... but fuck me, this feels like a big game right now!

Jose knows it... Klopp knows it... Arsene knows it... Pep pretends not to give shit, but he knows it all right...
they ALL know it!

Wednesday night is a battle of the Big Boys! We need to prove we're one of them!

So the big question on all the medias lips is "Will Poch match Conte and go 3 at the back for the Chelsea game".

Not that the actual starting formation is that important to how we play, considering we can switch between the two formations regularly depending on the phase of play and whether we have possesion. Poch has already stated that himself:

“The formation we choose to play is not important – most important is the animation and how we move the ball. Today was a game where, from the outside, we can see the players were enjoying playing football on the pitch. Most important is the idea, the philosophy, and what we want to do with the ball – I think you give too much importance to the shape.”

My only concern is that we go into the game over confident. We have players fit and back in form but realistically we beat a Southampton side in a awful run of form (with a dodgy pen) and a Watford side with a ridiculous number of injuries who were absolutely woeful and defended like amateurs.

Sissoko back in to give them something physical to think about. Son still needs to think about his awful tracking of Moses in the reverse fixture. Shame about no Lamela. His relentless pressing would help to keep them on the backfoot. We forced them into punting long balls to Costa in the first half at theirs.

I would go:

Walker Toby Verts Rose
Dier Dembele (if available)
Sissoko Alli Eriksen
Kane
