Match Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

yes, "WE" , not Burnely vs Paulinho. Or are you saying that if Paulo plays , he makes 10 of our player shit ?
not debating or saying that he is class, just that maybe he should get his chance
He doesn't improve the team - our worst performances are when he starts. He started last night, and he's had so many chances. If you think he's got a future in our team, then fine, I respect your opinion, but I've seen enough. I wince whenever his name is mentioned in connection with the 1st team - I'm sorry, I can't help it.

I hope the players like sand!!

I don't think you can overestimate the loss of both Bolasie and Jedinak. Both are integral to Palace's system. That said, it could mean they sit back a bit more, which has made life difficult for us in the past.

That said, I am quite confident we'll be strong enough to win this match.

I imagine zaha would come straight in for Bolasie, Puncheon has been playing the last few matches for them on the other side.

Pardew doesn't have the tools at Palace that he had at Newcastle. I think we should win this easy enough though a new manager sometimes galvanises things for a couple of games so no guarentees

Looking forward to heading to Palace for the first time. Reckon it'll be a close game of football, wouldn't be surprised at a draw.
Lovely late kick off means all day drinking in shite pubs in Saaaaf!

It will not be an easy game that's for sure. A win would be outstanding though. We'd be making points on atleast one of Southampton or United, perhaps both if they draw.

Newly laid pitch won't be easy to play on, probably be as shit as those eastern European ones are that we have to deal with (and always struggle with). Be great to pick up another 3 points on the road and keep this momentum going. Be even greater to see Pardew with a face like a smacked arse after a defeat on his home debut as manager.

Lloris
Walker Fazio Vertonghen Rose
Stambouli Dembele
Townsend Eriksen Chadli
Kane

Vorm Dier Davies Mason Winks Onomah Lamela

Gonna be a tough game. Their crowd will be well up for this with it being pardews first home game. With the two players they have missing, that will obviously help, but we also have players missing.
I pray we don't see invisiblinho anywhere near the starting eleven, but I have this horrible feeling we will. Dembele and invisiblinho does not work, it's a dreadful
partnership. I would like to see townsend on the left, but I don't see potch ever doing it as he is an inverted winger manager. Plus with chadli doing so well, he has to be on the left.
The midfield is the problem in this game for us. I was thinking of capoue, but he is just as useless as invisiblinho. Not that I particularly rate stambouli, but maybe it might have to be him and dembele.
It would be great to get 3 points, but I'm thinking a draw would be a good result here.
Midfield in the next home game shouldn't be too much of a problem if mason isn't back as we could go two upfront ans stick eriksen and dembele in the middle.

Yep Jedinak especially is crucial to their setup. The Aussie skip will be getting it done at the Asian cup for 3 weeks. Did I recall seeing stats that he was (stats wise) the fifth most effective player in Europe?? Should make it a bit easier for kane and eriksen to carve them up....

Without Jedinak, their centre mids are pretty weak. McCarthur and Bannan the likely pairing, Dembele should be able to breeze past these lot.
