If even one of them comes good that'd be worth its weight in gold, and arguably more than an extra 50m of CL money. Imagine Bergvall, Donley, Lankshear, Phillips, Hall, Dorrington, Moore & co getting minutes in Europe and working their way into the first team, what could be more satisfying as a fan.

Conversely if we're in the CL you know Ange is just playing his first team 3 times a week; everyone's getting injured and it'll completely fuck our domestic season like it did with Newcastle and United this year.

Ah yes, the academy.
That thing that's produced 2 decent players in 30 years or so. Let's forgo Wednesday nights against Real Madrid, and play against Carrybag FC at 5pm on a Thursday to watch the next Tom Carroll come through the ranks.
And pay through the fucking nose for it.

Let City win the league, we beat Sheffield. We have a big window in the summer and look to press ahead with our rebuild so we don’t have to rely on City and actual challenge for trophies ourselves going forward. The EL is a good competition, let try and win that.

We have Sheff Utd on the last day and just need a point. EL is a deffo for christ sake.

Not at all. I think he's been found out and it's when, not if now.
But as long as we have something to play for, I want us to win.

And maybe beating City will help him ease the nerves of those like me that doubt him.
