Fair enough i've been burned so many times though that it can be hard to stay optimisticPatience, Hottie.
It's not like we all aren't used to suffering.
We're almost there.
I still believe in the direction our club is going...
Calm down, brother.People say "Oh, we've improved from 5 years ago". Maybe financially. But in trophies and glory, what the club is all about? We're in exactly the same place.
Game was calling out for full back who could get in behind, someone a bit like maybe a walker or a rose
To be fair, he wasn't that great the weeks prior to the injury. Looks like the Kane from the Euros, slow, ponderous, indecisive. He had a decent half-chance today which if he was on it he might've snapped the shot off earlier. It was a toss up between Son or Kane. Both weren't at their best today. Kane is way below his best right now. Has been since he came back from injury.
I haven't slagged off anyone for "being upset". Everyone is upset.
I had a go at people for the way they lay into players. I started following Tottenham in the mid-Seventies, when the team was genuinely shit.
I don't follow them because they win or don't win trophies.
I don't "blame" the "responsible" people. I support them, I am a supporter. The clue is in the fucking name.

I would rather watch our team than that anti-football shite we played todayLosing obviously sucks.
But the love for the club goes on. That loves is unconditional.
Bit weird - I love us winning against anyone and if we go the rest of time without winning anything I'll still love it. Days like today are fucking terrible especially if there are mistakes and shit performances to blame but don't make nonsense generalisations like pochs training fucks us or we haven't been so much better in his time than we have for near enough 30 years.I don't log on every week to fucking rim the players if they manage to beat the likes of Watford or West Brom, no. I've got better shit to do with my time.
But when they fuck up yet another big game? Another semi final? I feel like I need to vent and this is the place to do it. I couldn't give a fuck how we do week in week out if it results in absolutely fuck all at the end of the season.
People say "Oh, we've improved from 5 years ago". Maybe financially. But in trophies and glory, what the club is all about? We're in exactly the same place.
Calm down, brother.
I know youre gutted, so am I.
But we are not in the same place we were five years ago.
You know that...
To think many said we don't need anyone last summer. We wouldn't have even had sanchez filling in for toby if we had done that. Come on levy & poch. 2 real quality signings this summer. Lets help ourselves! As many of us said in the Summer. We should have been active in keeping ahead of our rivals. Not waiting for the market to settle and picking up the leftovers 6 weeks in to the season.
Yeah I’d say that’s about right. We lost a fucking game of football.
When Kane is on form the team thrive.
When he isn’t we struggle for goals
When he's injured we seem to cope.
Honest question...
You knoe I actually feel for the players and the manager.
Must be such a difficult situation to deal with from a point of view of professionals who want to prove they are good enough to be winners.
Get 4th and when we do look back on this season that many thought would be one of transition, we will think it okay.
There is a certain painful and sick irony however in all 3 of our cup evictions coming at our assumed home.
Maybe the Wembley hoodoo remains.
That depends on if the players stay, which seems dubious at best.
If Toby and/or Kane/Dele/Eriksen leave this summer, we're back to square one and in deep trouble. Not to mention Son still has his mandatory military service that no one likes to talk about.
Like I said, the stadium? Sure, better. Financially? Sure, better. Players? Sure, better.
None of that wins us trophies.
