Honestly hope the fucking bed wetters who were on this thread ready to moan before a ball was kicked just stay away from now on.

JWP hit a fucking mis hit volley into the ground and it fluked in. It was against the run of play. Everything else was in their box before and mostly after.
4-1 ended up being flattering on Southampton, and all of that was achieved with last seasons 11.
As with last season we had plenty of chances to score, scored some missed some, there's no sudden dying need to sign an attacking midfielder because we were behind for 9 minutes in a game.

We've scored 4. Twice as many as anyone else in the league so far. Sit down and stop moaning.

Liverpool drew against a promoted side, Woolwich were outplayed for 70 minutes, Chelsea needed a penalty to score against Everton over 100 minutes. We have by far looked like the best side so far.

Yet you have “fans” complaining transfer business was not done on time or that our XI isn’t good enough.

He had 24/33 completed passes or 73% which was the exact same completion percentage as Kane (19/26)

Also had an assist and 4 key passes (most on our team) - not sure what's to complain about

Kulu was on another level today though with 92% completed passes
I never get this, completed passes shite. It Dier (under no pressure) passes the ball across the back line, 3 yards, to Romero. That's a completed pass?
Likewise, if Kane, in the middle of the pitch, with his back to goal with a man up his arse, spins losing his marker and hits a 30 yard, pin point pass over the head of the last defender to Son, that's a completed pass, just the same and equal to Diers?

Maybe there was some melting but most of you on this forum go absolutely psycho the moment anyone utters a negative word about the team. Someone says "team's looking disorganised" and 5 people will jump in and say "OH SO YOU THINK THE SEASON IS A BUST DO YOU?????" Fucking wankers.

We were pretty fucking dire the first 20 mins or so. The goal was so typical of a lot of goals we've conceded over the years.

It's great that team woke up and started playing after that but there was good reason to be worried for a while. Not like we've not had games that started like that and ended like that too.

Yeh , stats can be very deceptive . Watch the game and make up your own mind , I think

Your stream was wonky IMO.

I agree. The completed pass is not relevant when you're comparing a defender and an attacker obviously. It makes sense to some extent when you're comparing two attackers.

In this specific case, some posters have shown criticism about Son's touch and misplaced passes when in reality, he wasn't really all that off it and numbers show that.

You can't really say that a player had a poor game or was really off it any time the player leads a team in key passes and also has an important assist to put us ahead.

Not just that, you've got that sour brummie prick Abonglahor on the radio talking about Woolwich like they're prime fucking Barcelona. Palace should have won that game. They got at Woolwich all over the pitch and had decent chances they failed to put away.

Looks like he was antagonised first, but went nuclear in reaction.

So sweet we responded to the result yesterday by showing what a good result with a good performance looks like. Putting those up the road firmly in their place after thinking they'd put on a great performance. When in reality, they weren't impressive at all.
Yeah I thought the Woolwich looked ok for the first 20 mins but palace were shite and no way can Jesus be a number 1 striker for the season...overrated.
