Well Madrid improvised late in the game dropping back to "almost a 4-4-2" and so clearly no one good plays a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 with wingers and wingbacks. #Gibbsy :rolleyes:

to be fair some managers can be fluid with how there team lines up throughout a game but still besides man UTD theres not another team in the top 10 or 20 in world football (and us) playing a 4-4-2...

Oh of course, but that he seemed to believe that mid-game tactics completely refuted me pointing out that plenty of the top teams playing in those formations use modern wingers and wingbacks was just all sorts of lol. And hell man, I don't think even Man U plays it consistently anymore. Looked to me like Rooney's been playin a true No 10 just about all season.
