We won 3 of our final 12 fixtures in the league. Thankfully, an injury free first half of season got us points in the bag. As soon as the Champs League knockout stages started, we abandoned the league.
Poch was fortunate that all of our key players Lloris, Son, Trippier, Eriksen, Dele, Toby, Lloris, Sissoko, Moura were fit for all of the season; and Kane only missed a few games.
Imagine where we would have been if they had got injured and Poch had to play Nkoudu, Walker-Peters, Marsh, Jannsen, Foyth, Amos and a broken Wanyama? That is precisely what Ange has had to deal with.
