Great mentality to have at the club. Only show up for the occasional game and get paid handsomely for the privilege. Meanwhile supporters are forking out shedloads of dough to watch abysmal football.

Yep that’s my suspicion.

After the interview with his shades on inside it gave me the impression he thought he’d arrived. If he suddenly stopped putting in the effort, I think I’d have dropped him too.

I’m no fan of Warnock, but his assessment may not have been far from the mark.

Don't worry about obvious issues, like the fact that you personally have absolutely no idea what level of coaching the players are getting, or what the players mental state is - you just make up whatever you like and post it.

You are obviously omnipotent and see everything - through your Playstation, presumably.

Not great, but nobody else seems to give a flip about the league either including the manager. We treat the league like an early season cup tie at Tam… er, I mean, against a team that theoretically could not harm us

Assuming that that is how Spence thinks then yes, I can understand him being frustrated. It must be hard going from being locked stuck on the bench, then getting to play and doing very well and earning a lot of praise, only to get immediately exiled back to it once the "first choice" is back.

It is why proper rotations and squad management is so important. All players at this level have egos, and it is the managers job to handle them.
