For fuck sake you lot get behind the team, especially when we play well. Stop making every forum about your wish to get Ange out the door. I get it. I want him to leave at the end of the season too. But in the mean time I want to enjoy any morsels of success we are thrown. We did not win yesterday but there were signs we are getting back to the best we can be with these players.

I will admit that he did overlap a couple times, and did put in one decent looking cross, which absolutely shocked me. Therefore I wouldn't say "all his runs were poor"- there were at least a few that were good.

In general he constantly occupies the space Son needs to operate in. He makes Son less effective overall. Obviously this is Ange's fault as he has coached him into doing it, but it's terrible coaching and tactics, and has made a waste out of the twilight of Son's Spurs career.

amazing that Son has the exact same issue whoever plays LB.

1. I’m pretty sure they don’t come on here and read the posts.

2. God forbid anyone have their own opinions.

3. We’ve been fucking awful for well over 18 months and everyone is fed up.

4. Don’t tell me how to think and act. You do you. I’ll do me.

5. We have almost a full squad now. We are still awful. If you believe we will get back to it with this guy then I don’t know what to tell you.

We lost many games with full or nearly full complements.

Joking apart there must be a clause where he gets a bigger pay off for winning something versus being sacked once he can’t win anything. Like substantial. Or a bigger pay off if he’s sacked before the end of a second season, hence the “been here two years mate can’t be that bad mate”.

Surprised how cautious and poor they looked like they hadnt done their homework on us. They were there for the taking. We played better than of late but other than a 15 min spell at the start of the 2nd half it still seemed laboured. Just because it wasnt a Bournemouth, Fulham, Chelsea level performance from us hardly means it was a feast of superb football. Expectations are just in the sewer. The frustrating thing is this competition is totally open and winnable.

Absolutely - but when that excellent pressure had evaporated, it was a crime not to rekindle it by bringing on fresh legs around the 65 minute mark. Eventually about half of the South Stand were desperately gesturing for subs to come on - and eventually the stupid not-fat bloke did it. I swear he delayed making changes out of pure spite and hatred - either that or he's totally incompetent.

But still, we concede early, we waste loads of possessions, waste far too many opportunities, and the end result despite a decent performance is that we come out level against what should be considered a lesser team.

What’s more likely, we improve on this for the second leg away, or they play just a bit better on their home ground and finish us? Hard to be optimistic in my opinion.

It felt like we gave them everything we could expect to give, but still fail to win. Even Ange said he couldn’t ask for more from the lads or something like that.

If it wasn't for the last year of football you come out of this game frustrated and fairly optimistic....if it wasn't for the past years performances.
