Their front 3 is actually very good and Jack Clarke on bench with Ogbene injured who ain’t bad. Delap looks the real deal to me, big, strong, got skills. We should be going after him.

Compare to our forward line. I’m a Solanke convert but Son is going downhill rapidly and Johnson doesn’t impact enough of a game (or help out in defence)
Yes, Johnson's defense is worrisome.

What were the naive tactics that caused their goals today?

I had a very good view of them from the South
but I'm interested in your thoughts as I just thought it was poor defending in our 12
Yard area exactly like the Brighton game
the fullbacks always being upfield leaving us open to being countered on down the wing. like every game. Actual CMs constantly having to be out of position to cover for missing fullbacks, and fullbacks occupying space for the actual wingers to run into. It's a terrible system that packs the opponents box for itself and leaves us open on the counter. Ange doesn't have the benefit of having the clearly best players and most money like he did at Celtic and is being found out.

Reason why legendary manager burkinshaw quit. Club too focused off field than on it. Thats the problem now.
Yeah, but read today that Adele is being lined up for a set of concerts next summer. So do we really need Europe at all?

Sad Cry GIF

I'd fire him tomorrow and bring Potter in. He can be there by Wednesday.
I've always liked Potter but why would he be able to get Romero and Porro et al to defend the box like actual defenders?

None of that applies to todays goals or in the Brighton game though.

We haven't conceded due to our high line or inverted fullbacks since Newcastle.

You seem to be living in last seasons problems. We have an entirely different set this season :ange-bored:

I mean no high line causes Porro and Johnson to stand and watch while some Ipswich cunt bicycle kicks it under no pressure.

Or for Romero and Porro to watch each other while Delap actually contests the ball.

we need to go back to suicidal high line because our defenders simply refuse to defend

I had to miss the game today thank fuck but that is a pathetic result. We have real problems not being able to beat this lot at home, a few injuries and fatigue or not.
Classic Spurs.
Shameful
