Match Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester City, 20:15 GMT, Wednesday 30th October. League Cup Round of 16

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think it is a big game for Ange. As much as he struggles with any team away, he struggles with the likes of City and Woolwich at home, more so than other managers before him. I'm unconvinced he can actually beat Pep or Arteta until he does it. Failed 6 times already.
He's been done by Howe, Hurzeler and Glasner already this season - why would he be able to get the better of Pepe or Arteta?

They are able to make in-game tactical changes and Ange will just stand there with his hands in his pockets doing nothing.

I wouldn't have picked his starting line up against Newcastle or Palace. He made one good in-game tactical change second half against West Ham and didn't stick with it.

omf... Odobert and Son out... so...

I've got no clue whats it gonna be like

Maybe -

----------Vicario----------
Porro-Radu-VDV-Spence
----Sarr----Bentancur---
Johnson-Kulu--Madders
--------Solanke-----------

Udogie is awfully off it and overplayed. We have lack of wingers, so PLEASE play to have more control. Both Sarr and Benta should be reasonably fresh.
We have to have fight in us today. Can't go out with full limp-dick like against Palace.
I really like that setup. Would love to see it.

Should be strongest possible line up - none of these players need resting, we did that last week against AZ only for the rested players not to turn up at the weekend. Make the fuckers play and earn their wage.

If we go out to a Man City C team because we dick around playing the likes of Werner then Ange should just go - what’s he going to achieve with us if he doesn’t take domestic cup competitions seriously. I mean it’s great having a target of winning the league and CL, but fack me, you have to build up to it - how many League cups has Pep won?

Will be a massive great fuck off nail in the coffin if we go overly weak tonight. Udogie is the only first teamer I feel it would be acceptable resting as due to our ridiculous decision to keep Spence out of the Europa squad, he has played a lot of games.

Me too, but let's face it - not gonna happen.

Playing 2 #6 players and Madders on winger position would changing something.
But Ange does not care for change, just repeating same approach.

Hope I am wrong but not much faith in that.
But I like the energy Sarr brings to the side. Bentancur is quite honestly hit and miss - very often he just slouches around the pitch even if there is room in front of him to run to. But IN THEORY he should be fresher than Bissouma at least.
