Match Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester City, 20:15 GMT, Wednesday 30th October. League Cup Round of 16

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Has to go strong and try to win this - like someone else said, if he rotates too much and we lose to their 2nd string fans will be going mental and so they should.
The first team were horrific at the weekend and bar maybe Bentancur coming in and possibly Spence for Udogie should be no other changes with Son and Ode out.
Cups are our only hope and probably Anges.

Been thinking about this line up a lot (by virtue of being off work on holiday so interchanging it with working out where we’re eating dinner). Both Son and Odobert out is a blow.

My lineup would be:
Vic
Porro-Drag-VdV-Spence
Sarr-Bent-Bergvall
Kulu-Solanke-Werner

Bergvall I think could surprise a few in a game like this and feel like Madders is less effective vs a team like them.
Kulu definitely better in the centre but with BJ needing a rest and being off form the last week, needs must.
And whilst it still angers me that we signed Werner AND that he made the EL squad ahead of Spence, but he does at least have pace so can be an option on the break. If he’s stinking it up, then Richie at half time otherwise Moore on 60

I don't believe he'll rotate all areas, that would be mental and undermine his '2nd year winner' claim (since we'll be beaten by City's second string very easily). But I expect there will be a couple of changes.

As long as we're in it in the second half, we'll win.

Vicario, Dragusin and Werner seem to be the ones confirmed.

I just hope it's Solanke over Richarlison atleast

Think this could be a season defining game for the players and the club.
Really think its a great chance of some silverware if we progress.
From the start we got to show same commitment to getting the job done that Palace had and the rest hopefully takes care of itself.
Its all about standards from each and every player on the park.
A do or die cup tie v City in a Spurs jersey what else do you need to put on a show lads …..
Bring it on.COYS

We need to go maximum strength tomorrow.

There is no point playing the reserve team and getting knocked out. There is no point playing if you're not playing to win.

And will the real Solanke please stand up tall......he's had a very indifferent start to his time here.
3 goals in 7 or 8 starts I think for a new team?
And 2 assists.
