Fair fucks. After that shambles at the weekend, this was a good performance. Make no doubt.
Whoever wins this “tinpot trophy” this year really deserves a lot of credit.
All the big hitters still in there in the last 8 aside from city (😂) & the chavs (😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂)
It ain’t a tinpot trophy this year. Probably better competition than the Europa.
It’s a lesser regarded trophy for sure but going as far as we can in this one is huge bearing in mind there are no easy draws to get deeper into it.

The little tweak from Ange to put Biss in next to Bentancur and have deki in front worked a treat. Looked really solid and that decision had a massive bearing on the result. Well done to Ange and the team.

Late to the party but I don't understand how we can go from that shambles at Palace to what I witnessed tonight. Ange has got some credit in the bank knocking this lot out of the cup imo.

Let's hope even if it doesn't work out long term he can at least win the club a trophy. COYS.

Different set ups by opponents.

Teams like Palace are big, physical and want to halt momentum at all costs. Which disrupts the way we want to play. Mix that in with our intensity not being there and it's a recipe for disaster. These sort of games don't happen often so it's hard to replicate this sort of thing in training and can only hope to learn from the experience. Which we should.

City, whilst much better than Palace at football things, are much more of a suited opponent to the way we play. Not in terms of us dominating proceedings but they want to actually play football.

I said after West Ham that we had Palace, City and Villa upcoming but Palace was the one game I was worried about most because of the narrative and the early kick off away at a tough ground (regardless of their form).
