Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The ANgeBall at Celtic is more direct and faster - the pace of the passing .

The style at Spurs is much SLOWER both ball and player.
ANgeball at SPurs also has more lateral passes compared to Celtic.
Definitely. Obviously it can be pointed out that it was Celtic/Scotland, but I went and watched a few Celtic games in the summer to get the gist of Ange-Ball and that team was much more "technically" set-up.

His Celtic team played two 8/10 playmakers - Hatate, O'Riley, Mooy - who controlled each half space and the game went through them and they knitted everything together. They'd link up with the wingers who offered a bit of everything - nimble and go past a man, had some technical ability to control/dribble/pass, also adept at off the ball runs and give and go's. The striker Kyogo is a really intelligent mover and technically solid in his touch/passing/shooting too. Whilst the fullbacks did those same underlapping runs and support plays we see, but from what I've seen in comparison seems we rely/play on them a bit more than Celtic did, rather than those further up the pitch being on the ball and doing damage.

Our team is a bit more pragmatic (eg. the more physical/athletic Sarr instead of another advanced midfielder) and probably isn't as heavily technically-minded nor dominant of the opposition. Now again, it was Celtic and maybe the realities of the PL he has to rein it in a bit. We're also a work in progress and there are some, even those fans really like, who probably get replaced in the grand vision of what Ange wants the team to become. It also helps massively if/when Maddison/Bissouma/Bentancur get up to speed and run midfield..... But yeah, in the overall set up we're not as polished with the ball compared to the Celtic team.

Cant slag off ange. We lost kane who is a one in a generation striker. Just dont want us to fart arse around in summer getting a striker. We need one. I do think veliz will come good so will be good back up. We pay the penalty though at the back when our press in broken. Would like us to just keep the ball in midfield probing though at times rather than be frenetic in bombing forward.
Well actually, we can. Or at least I can because he told the entire world in his presser that he won't change anything and then does exactly that. Changes nothing.

In the world's hardest league. Criticism is due.

We can't play Son and Richie together, both offer nothing creativity wise and they killed almost every attacking move today.

We need wingers than can fucking beat a man and I will start Salomon on the left once he's fit.

Royal should't play, he's too slow on the ball, allowing the other team to organize, and makes too much mistakes.

Our defense is hopeless, we doesn't even seem to train.
Its not Royal's fault ..and its not his worst game. There are other shittier players today
His fingers doing the running?

I’ll be honest with you, I had some belief in Ange and this project. I still do but I have no faith in the current owners because they’ve never proven that they can do it.
Agreed. I think he will turn us in to a top 4 team some seasons but he needs enic & levy to change their ways & back him big time to take the next step. I love our back 5. So This summer is time to improve the midfield & attack.
I still think we will probably get top 5 which should be a CL place. United do worry me though as they can play crap & win for quite a few games in a row.

With the squad we have and no Europe it is
It's a missed opportunity given how the season has panned out perhaps, but none of us thought it was happening. None of us. Losing Kane, the shocking pre-season and all the rest of it - we all thought it was going to be shit.

It's the hope that both kills you and is the source of all this frustration.

We will finish in the top 7.

ONeill yesterday at press conference. We know how tottenham play. Sometimes in football you have to trick opponents in how you play. Could have sat back or probed in midfield ratger being ultra frenetic getting forward. Should have let them have a spell dominating game then hit them on break. We need to mix it up at times. Game management.

None of us expected top four this season before a ball was kicked.
I appreciate the overall sentiment, but that’s not how professional sport works. There’s not some mythical point when everything suddenly clicks.

From where we were and, more importantly, how we were playing, limping to 6th or 7th in the league is a regression and the team need to accept that.

There has to be anger in the team. If there isn’t, we’ll never get anywhere.

I think we need a plan B for games against teams that use low blocks! They all know to just pack the box and we will eventually put in a poor cross only for it to be cleared! We need to entice teams to play out against us and then use the pace we have to counter them!
