It's a bit of both. The longer the season goes the more teams suss each other out. And it isn't exactly like the players lay about doing nothing between games. They are bound to be worn down by now.

Need more directly up top, without Porro/doggy on.
 
Players like Kulu who doesn't run at defenders but always check back to cross with his favourite foot are useless in the league. They are so easy to defend.

A RW who doesn't use his right foot is really a joke.
