Match Tottenham Hotspur Vs Wolverhampton Yam Yam Wanderers. (Sat 17th Feb 15:00)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Its always ridiculous mistakes that turn the tide against us, we are all over them and Bissouma in a threatening position lets the ball roll under his foot and they're off to the races, almost happened again later.
That central midfield needs an elite player so badly. Bissouma feels like he's only been good for a couple of false dawns and while I love Sarr, he can't do it all and isn't particularly creative.

On my fucking knees praying that Bergvall is the bollocks and develops faster than expected.

We've got to ban that fucking underlap run as well, please.

Sometimes, ok sure. But it's fucking overdone to death and most of the time the Spurs player acts as a better defender than the opposition to kill the space.

If the winger gets it and is 1vs1 with his man, stay away from him and let him get on with it.

Title race over now, yeah? As if some really believed we ever had a chance. City, Pool and Woolwich are zillion lightyears ahead of us.

Villa start winning again, they're better than us. Newcastle & United been worse than should really be, otherwise we'd be nowhere near top 4. That ain't melting, that's the damn cold hard truth.

We're just a very ordinary team full of average players, a team who can only play one way. Can't defend. Can't score. Won't fight (bar Cuti, Micky and a couple others).

Wolves, Brentford, Brighton, Everton...they've made us look like shite.

Let's not even mention our glorious cup 'runs'.

Nuno/Mou/Conte and Poch to a lesser degree would've been hammered for such performances on the regular. But can't blame Ange, makes you a melt/gooner etc.
I'd say unlike Nuno, Mou and Conte at least it looks like we're building a side and overall its been positive but the honeymoon is over now.

With our lack of games and the headstart we had on a shambolic Utd we should be getting 4th and i dont think we will.

Whats going on the training pitch with all these blank weeks? Set piece defending is diabolical.

It does feel that our good football early season took everyone by surprise but opposition sides have sussed there are ways to play us and we havent adapted.

The ANgeBall at Celtic is more direct and faster - the pace of the passing .

The style at Spurs is much SLOWER both ball and player.
ANgeball at SPurs also has more lateral passes compared to Celtic.

Where's the "can we still win the title" thread.

I can't be arsed to look it up, but whoever comes up with shit like that needs shooting. We are a fucking mile away from challenging the top teams in this league. Yeah we may push for europe, but to compete for titles we are no where near.

I'm worried that our season is going to fade away after the last few performances, where if we're being honest, all have been fairly iffy.

Sadly what Woolwich have in Rice is the stature and type of mudfielde we need , and what Liverpool possess is the mind of attacking potency we lack.

City have both.

Ww are in a sh!t patch and need to dig ourselves out and quickly, but new players are needed in the summer. No doubt at all.
Yep.

Salah/Diaz/Nunes/Jota just relentless killer instinct.

We have nothing close to that. Remember the shouts for Bissouma being better than Rice?

He has been reactive in games though and will
Change things up , just them subs today killed it - why did we take both Sarr and Biss off?
I just hope we see some improvement in the next game as let’s be honest the football has been horrid for a while now, still it’s early days for Ange and he needs to be given another summer window
Oh no doubt about it mate, he has made some great decisions at times that have won us games, however those changes still very much fit within the remit of the style of play and tactical system we start with, often it's just that we stretch teams more with our quality towards the end of games, hence the late winners/equalizers.

The football hasn't been great since the Chelsea game if I am honest but I do agree it is early days and he should be given another window but I would also like to see him as a manager adapting more and having an alternative strategy to deal with games like this.

We still have that sort of soft touch about us. Can be a bit bullied. Like you say, a dominant leader CM would make a world of difference.
