Match Tottenham v Chelsea - December 8th - 4:30pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Glad I’ve gone from the ground to seeing a favourite band! Stayed until the end (as usual) and bet I feel less annoyed than those that left early. A few came out with a touch of credit but not much. We’re crying out for leaders.

In fairness, when the feeling has been shit. The club has gone big in terms of appointing a manager. Mourinho was out of a job, but his appointment, if you include getting his preferred coaches out of the clubs that they were in (Sacramento at Lille, his GK coach somewhere) and his wages, was not a cheap one. Conte's appointment likewise, if you see how high his wages were, wasn't a cheap one. I don't neccessarily think we're restricted to a "cheap" appointment. It's just that we act cheap once we've made the appointment. Once the bad feeling has been placated.
That's a fair comment but who is out there, available and would excite the fan base?

That game for me was one of the most obvious as to where we needed some in game management. It was a brilliant start and to be 2-0 up against Chelsea was fantastic, but fuck me we bought that defeat on ourselves in the end.

The lack of ability/knowledge to slow the game down was crazy, no one in our team wanted to take a breather and in the end it cost us with that 2nd half.

Bissouma's penalty was a terrible choice by the player himself.

Not sure how Caicedo stayed on the pitch, anyway that isn't the reason we lost.

When we were 2-0 up I knew there wasn't a chance it was going to stay like that or we would win.

Looking across the tracks at the platform-full of dejected souls waiting for the southbound train at WHL, I couldn't help but feel sorry for them having to look across the tracks at the platform-full of dejected souls waiting for the northbound train.

We deserve better.

There just isn't any managers/coaches available that could step in and excite the fan base. Any manager at a club, especially in the EPL is going to cost a fortune. It cost United 20m to sack Ten Hag + coaches to bring in Amorin + coaches. Levy will be reluctant to pay that sort of money but he might have no choice because the available managers/coaches don't have the pedigree that makes you think they can turn our season around.

We're on the verge of needing stabilised, forget excited. We're sliding dangerously and quickly.

I don't think that any of those Chelsea players, manager or coaches thought that they would lose that game at two, nil down.

Not one of them.

I sometimes forget how mind numbingly stupid footballers are.

Today I got two huge fucking reminders.

I don’t think that I have felt less hope or seen less optimism in my 60 odd years of supporting this club.

I truly, truly am bereft of feeling for this team. These players have reduced me to terminal indifference.

Congratulations, Ange, you have stripped this club of all it’s dignity.

Well he did with Jose and we are likely still paying Conte.

Bournemouth, Brighton and Forest (yes i know) all took a risk with their managerial appointments, Levy went with a "winning" coach.

Alternatively if buying relative cheap kids, managed by a manager who wants a long term project is the answer, then Levy should come out and say it, and in turn reduce admission prices in order to match his ambitions.

Was a cracking game though, end to end stuff and I thought we played well. Both teams had plenty of chances to score and we missed quite a few. Both penalties were really poor decisions from Bissouma and Sarr and in the end that's what cost us.

Made me feel nauseous. I knew we needed the 3rd and we basically just got pummeled for the next hour. I couldn't catch the last 10 minutes (not that I minded).

We were unlucky to lose Romero so early, can't have helped the mood.

But Bissouma's tackle, what a fucking twat. I've called him a menace to both teams, but he's added a liability to his list of traits. Not a good sign. The fuck is wrong with him? it was an awful piece of judgement and it didn't look like a mistake, more like a reckless, angry challenge. I think, and I'm not trying to be mean here, but I think that he might be a moron.

Someone count his brain cells. Weekly.

Total fucking gut-punch. So fucking sad/angry.

EDIT: Just found out their 4th was from a stupid challenge by Sarr. They need to learn the difference between aggression and stupidity.
