Match Tottenham v Manchester United - Carabao Cup - Thursday 19th at 8PM

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So, last season we went out in the first round against Fulham. The screams after that were deafening. Start of this season, the demand was that we perform much better in the cup competitions.

We've just got through to the semi final of our first cup competition. Are we seeing recognition of this from those that shouted longest and loudest?

Are we fuck. All we see now are complaints about the manner in which we've progressed.

This constant state of misery that some of you live in must be absolutely exhausting.

Well clearly Forster had bet the house on both teams to score, so at least he was able to pick up some dosh for tonight. Otherwise United could have been playing all night and not got a goal. Result, Frazer!!!

Special mention for Archie Gray. Must have broken the record tonight for blocking shots, heading away, and hardly gave any free kicks away. Left back right back centre back.
One of these days he might actually get picked in the midfield.
DJed showing Ange up again for being an idiot and not picking him in matches till the other day, and not in the Europa squad at all. Where we REALLY could do with him.
Well played Dom, again. Great target man, exactly what we needed when Kane left.
Kulu, ought to be captain.
Another match where Spurs do a very good impression of Fred Karno’s army. The neutrals’ darlings
Can’t wait to see those United goals again. I couldn’t bear to look at the screens during the game.

Anyone still buzzing? Not in a demolishing-City type way but in a being-put-through-the-wringer-but-still-loving-it sort of way?

Here's a stat to put a smile on your face:

Tottenham 4 - Manchester 0
Goals for: 13. Goals Against: 4
I'm buzzing after every Spurs win Bill.

Spoke to the old man at half time, both of us chuckling over what this club puts you through. It's been like that my entire lifetime.

You roll with the punches and take pleasure in the wins. What is the point otherwise?

He is the very least of our problems.

Yep, all for the attacking football. But when we’re 3-0 up can our reserve keeper not be allowed to kick it long because he’s not comfortable on the ball?

Why can we never adapt our play to the game situation? It’s all well and good saying “this is who we are” etc when playing Ross county and St Johnstone, we never have that luxury.

Ange embarrassed himself in Europe with Celtic playing with that mentality. We’ve arguably embarrassed ourself in Europe plenty of times this season with that mentality. Not smashing everyone bar maybe Gala away and a severely struggling Roma isn’t good enough. Ange smirking away in his interview saying “aren’t you entertained” fucked me off. We had no chance to rest any players because we dug ourselves into a ridiculous hole. If you only play one way why not buy a second keeper who can play with the ball at feet? Why only have 1 CB who is happy with a high line?

I can't believe fans take his post match comments seriously, it's obvious he's playing into the naive fool the media desperately want him to be, he even said he bets the studio were having a meltdown over this tactics after the match, it's obvious he plays into the character the media want him to be.
