Honestly, I'd keep Bergvall in the side but if Ange wanted to protect him a bit from this game I could understand it. United will be looking to target people when it comes to officials and winning cheap cards and fouls, especially after the Bruno red got overturned. They will be looking to pressure that into a few payback whistles and young kids is who they would go after. But if Biss gets an early yellow, I'd have no fear bringing Bergvall in.

I think we see another Maddison masterclass in this one. He loves a battle against the other big-name creative CMs in the prem and with the darts on he will be in a good mood the whole Christmas period.

Spurs are like Murdoch from The A-Team at the moment. One minute we're bombing mercenaries from a helicopter, the next we're strapped to a chair in a home for the deranged. If we're in the former mode, we can do this lot again.

Under Amorim they seem to be putting more emphasis on having possession. Around 70 % in couple of matches already, and they even went almost equal with two top teams on the road. Considering the abundance of pacy frontline players we have, it might make sense to go with a lower block, give up the possession and try to hit them on the counter.Going gung-ho with a back 4 featuring prospects, backups, and/or players playing out of position is not something to look forward to.

Purely hypothetical of course, as Ange would never compromise. But IMO it would make total sense if he actually did.
