It's hilarious how much old British people hate playing out from the back.

Dunno if the game had the same commentary in the UK, but they were so exasperated by not just booting every ball long with no understanding at all of why playing short is tactically valuable.

Dragu showed his age and inexperience, as in he didn't react rationally cause they been all over the place for 30 mins. Course the lad knows he gotta head that, he's a pro defender. Lost his head in more ways than one, is all.

Need leaders to grab them younguns and tell them to keep cool, stay focused & composed, get the basics right. We have nobody doing that, incl our manager...though he was a bit more lively on the touchline tonight.
 
Carragher and Redknapp nailing it. They are actually coming across as honestly wanting to see us win and that makes a refreshing change for sky. You can see as ex players they know how close we could be just with a few tweaks.

They even acknowledged it must be aging us watching them.

Edit: I think some are being a little precious over their comments. They didn’t bang on about Man U and did give us some credit. I think we just frustrate them.

Everyone plays out from the back and we've been fine doing it. It was just an inexplicable fuck up followed by an unnecessary pass back (which absolutely isn't Angeball, he's notorious for wanting forward passes) followed by another massive gaff by the same individual.

We deserved that win, at 3-0 we were in total control and then the clown show started. I get some people are Ange out but a bit of perspective is required.

Great interview on Sky post match to be fair.
