Rose gave a journeyman like downing the space to look half decent, so on that basis alone should be encouraged to give golf a serious amount of consideration.
The opposition should decide the attack IMV (ie MP chooses the strike force dependent on the make up and formation of the defenders playing for the opposition)

Lloris - 9/10 nuff said
Naughton - doesn't deserve a mark
Kaboul - 5/10 bit dozy and they got several free headers, it was a clean sheet but dunno how!
Capoue - 8/10 as did well to adjust to CB
Dier - 10/10 for changing positions plus a decisive and great finish in a tough debut at 20yrs old
Rose - 5/10 made Downing look good too many crosses from his side
Bentaleb - 7/10 not too bad, hardly a boss though, bonus point for a decent dig and the pre-assist pass to Kane
Eriksen - 7/10 too many straight balls in the last third into dead ends, he put a shift in though
Lamela - 6/10 similar to Eriksen on the passing, ineffective
Lennon - 6/10 it just didn't work between him and the above two today, especially when down to 10 (fair enough)
Ade - 6/10 some ok hold-up play and dropping in but no service all day
Townsend - 8/10 bright and direct when he came on and worried them
Holtby - 6/10 always looks busy, what does he actually do?
Kane - 8/10 one poor choice to shoot but had nothing much else except for 'that pass' (which itself was 10/10, great ball)
For the most part it was same-old but that goal was legen........wait for it.......dary
