The only shot on goal from open play from us was a fluke cross that went in.

Anyway hes basically said it was the lack of atmosphere that was the issue and doubled down in the post match press conference by saying AZ fans really made the difference the other night. So yeh its our fault.
How short sighted and arrogant must you be to ignore that the fans apathy and lack of engagement is because it’s shit.

I heard the fans trying to get behind the team. I also heard them when we went 1-0 and 2-0 down.

Come on FFS.

We were at home to Bournemouth. You think that's an acceptable point??

Really?? Against fucking Bournemouth??

Give your head a wobble pal. 👍🏻
where did I say it was "acceptable"?

I'm saying, based on the game I watched we were lucky to get a draw. living in reality today.

don't know what bit you're disagreeing with unless you think we were the better team and should have won today.

don't assume I'm happy with where we are ffs?! I want the manager out. I fucking hate this season.

very simply we didn't deserve shit today.

What are you gonna do about it then? ....Sulk? ....Riot?

........If we get knocked out on Thursday then there's literally no point in hiring a caretaker manager to go through the motions for the last couple of months.

Meanwhile; if we survive then - like it or not - so will Ange.
There are managers available now.
I would prefer Iraola but I'm not sure that he will move to us if he gets them into Europe.
Terzic is free now, if we go out Thursday then he would have the rest of this season to assess before the inevitable rebuild, which will include us losing some good players.

That takes some front. I'm sure we would have performed better at times if the support was raucous (who wouldn't), but they've been served utter dross for so long to turn it back on the support, after a record number of excuses, is a tad off

That was awful. Kepa threw away 2 points for them. Their poor finishing, a fluke goal and a goalkeeping fuck up got us a point.

We were totally fucking abject. There was not one player bar vicario/bergvall who was any good. Going forward we have nothing, our midfield is non existent, we don't create anything, we have 2 of the thickest players in the league in bissouma and bentancur. Our defence is a fucking shambles, nobody knows what they're doing, nobody has any positional discipline. The manager is a chancer, he has no clue what he's doing. This season has been a total disaster and it's not even over, we could easily end up on 20 losses in the league. Fucking pathetic.

No disrespect to Bournemouth, they're a solid well run club and a decent side, but the fact we were underdogs at home today, and got played off the park by them, giving up nearly 3xg is just a total embarrassment. It really shows how far we've fallen as a club in the past year and a half. I don't even think we're at the lowest point yet either. It is baffling to me how the fans in the stadium accept that, paying the prices they do.

It's embarrassing. I'm coming from N.Ireland each time.

Last season:

Spurs 1 Chelsea 4
Spurs 1 West Ham2
Spurs 2 Woolwich 3
Spurs 0 City 2 (or 1, can't remember/but stopped them lot winning the league)

This season:

Spurs 0 Woolwich 1
Spurs 3 Chelsea 4
Spurs 3 Liverpool 6

Not going again until he's gone.

There’s one point in sacking Ange and putting in caretaker imho - the search for a replacement starts in earnest sooner rather than later.

It took 76 days to hire Nuno after sacking Jose and 72 days to hire Ange after Conte.

Not great if Ange is sacked after the last game on 25 May and it takes 2 and a half months to hire a replacement like it did with Nuno and Ange … as preseason training starts at the beginning of July (or is it late June I forget) …

Plus if/when we’re knocked out of Europa, I don’t see the point in keeping Ange (unless by some miracle Ange adjust his tactics and we start looking amazing) - it’ll be time to move on …

Watching back the recap, the 1st goal conceded today and the 2nd that VAR struck off were directly due to our FBs basically playing as forwards with no DM in the midfield covering for them.

Our primary tactical failure is just so fucking basic, it's impossible to understand how someone who cannot see it was hired to manage the 8th/9th richest football club in the world.
You basically described Angeball. It been like that since he came and "I refuse to change, Mate".

Bournemouth have moved on through smart management & great recruiting to become a top half team with great potential. They are alongside Brighton, a model for other clubs to follow. Perennial top six clubs like Spurs & Man U have been coasting while the little guys had a plan.
It's not a matter of stealing Iraola from them because as we saw when Brighton got raped & pillaged by Chelsea, they have an actual plan in place.
Until real change happens, a point at home to Bournemouth is a very acceptable point.

Letting fullbacks push forward ambitiously so that they can help create overloads further up the pitch presupposes that you'll be able to move the ball to these areas uninterrupted to begin with. Otherwise you're putting your defensive shape in jeopardy without having anything to show for it.

Ange not only demands his fullbacks to bomb forward and stay out of the initial buildup process, but also keeps his front 3 and even 2 of his midfield trio in areas where they are not much of a factor. This is almost an insurmountable numerical disadvantage for the remaining players to overcome on a regular basis. So barring a few totally unforced errors I don't blame the players for the giveaways inside our own third anymore. The whole logic behind our buildup is irreparably broken.
