Yet again the issue can be seen with the slow build up from Vic.

Our midfield lacks creavity, but that's due to the players they play with. This pairing just can't hold the ball effectively.

The wingers aren't consistently receiving the ball because they either don't make runs to get into open spaces or are always moving into central areas, leading to a lack of width in the attack.

Maddison and Bergvall 's clash in their playing styles being too similar.

Adding to Spence and porro' tendency to drift inward further reduces passing options and further limits the effectiveness of the wing play.

Spence and porro are told to play inverted constantly. Its not a tendency they have

I really do think , as several others have mentioned that there must be some sort of clause in his contract . If he doesn't get us into Europe next season , Levy can terminate it on the cheap . Levy just prolonging the agony to save a few bob .

He doesn't care about the fans paying mega bucks to watch the turgid shit week in week out . It's always the supporters who suffer

I have to say Lucas was incredible when he came on, he really does not know when he's beaten.
Also a mention for Vic, as If it hadn't been for him, it would have been a bigger deficit at HT. But the constant messing about, passing back and forth in front of our goal, inviting the opposition to pressure us, drives me bonkers! I just don't get it.

Another thing that is annoying is how often we have 6 or 7 players almost in touching distance of each other playing 2 yard passes and trying little tricks and flicks.
It can be defended very easily and then there are huge spaces for them to use elsewhere on the pitch.

So keeping a partial eye on him and Iriola and they couldn’t be more different. Iriola was back and forth to his coaches talking to them and actually rarely in his technical area (worse than Arteta actually). Ange on the other hand did nothing but stand there with his hands in his pockets. He didn’t even acknowledge Jedinak when he came out to shout at the players on a defensive corner.
