Ange should pick his team for Thursday and then for this fixture. No one should play 90 mins for all 3. Bentancur suspended for Thursday so he starts. If Son is playing Thursday then not Sunday. Spence will play Thursday and so rest him.

It's rare that I ever miss watching a match, but I'm making the deliberate decision to avoid this.
Meaningless game and I'm still full of anger and apathy after last night.

It's all or nothing for Thursday. Fail to progress and I want that fraud gone immediately!

I wouldn’t let Johnson into the bloody ground and the only place for Tel to start would be on the left.

They had eight days rest before AZ and put in possibly their worst performance of the season so that clearly doesn't work.

How about they just do their jobs and put in a performance for the 60,000 fans that have bought tickets with their hard-earned cash? If they get a knock or feel tired for Thursday, so be it.
 
Curious to see who he selects. He must be tempted to rest players but he tried that against City in the buildup to AZ and we ended up losing both with two awful showings.

We need a good win to get us pumped for the return leg so I would play our strongest team here. Our home record under this clown is a disgrace and it’s got to change.

We have not won a European trophy since 1984 and a 1 goal deficit for the 2nd leg is nowhere near the position we were in at half time in the 2nd leg against Ajax in 2019. Yes we had Moura then but he was heavily criticised before that performance.
My original post was that the level of pessimism after last night on this thread was OTT. I get pessimistic before away matches to Liverpool & Chelsea where year after year regardless of what Manager or players we have we regularly capitulate. This is a home match against Bournemouth and whilst they are having a better season and may beat us, we should be more confident.

Not with dingo wucka being manager. We should have a poll about what excuse Ange uses next. Perhaps the ball won't be pumped up correctly or someone swiped his lucky vest
