People trotting out "we were always going to lose today"

Palace won their first proper trophy EVER last weekend. Backed it up with a win midweek and then went to Anfield today and got a point.

It does look weak from us.

Just another reminder we've got a fuck ton of work to do over the summer. Lets hope that - Levy primarily - isn't losing sight of that.
 
It cannot be in doubt now, that he has to go..I purposely didn't comment before this game due to the europa league, he will always be remembered for delivering the trophy we desperately needed, but he's out of his depth as I have said over and over. Time to go, thanks and goodbye

Yeah got no issue with this. Only thing I have an issue with is some of our “fans” trying to downgrade our trophy and/or not taking any joy in it. Weird creatures.

I was wobbling in the immediate aftermath of the cup win, part of me thinking maybe Ange has earned the summer window and start of next season.

I don’t think it’s viable, sadly. Best for both to part ways and he can depart with our best wishes.

We definitely NEED to build on this win. Something we failed to do after the CL final.

After watching 50 matches here in the US on various streaming services I can say the trophy was great but the rest of the season wasn't very enjoyable. Maybe a cup matters more at this point in Spurs history, but the Premier League games still matter a lot.

League form alone gets most/all managers sacked, but if you look at this through Levys eyes, what manager is out there that is worthy of taking the flak that will come if he does sack Ange? Who is going to make it worth while for him to become the villain who sacks the manager who won the Europa League and secured CL football.

Not having a pop at you, my man...you're one of the posters I enjoy on here, though I don't always share your opinions. And I get where you're coming from on this one. But still, I hate that free hit mentality some really do have. I mean, some - including the clueless bastard in our dugout - dare talk about a winning culture when we've lost 26 games. It's mind friggin boggling.

todays game was potentially worth 10m.

like i said its not even just about todays game, today was just more of the same of the other 21 defeats weve had.

lets be honest! if he was sacked months ago then mason would of won that europa! what did postecoglou do that mason wouldnt of? dropped son for richy in the final? big deal, most fans knew that was the logical thing to do! hes sending on teenagers without instructions for the last 7 mins! hes giving us no horse power at all hes a drag.

weve won the europa cos we had the best squad in the comp by a distance!! weve won that on player quality. fuck all to do with the turd managing.
