Match Tottenham vs Brighton Sunday 25th May 16:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Today (or was it yesterday) was all about finishing the season. Was hoping for a better result but not really expecting one. Think Ange had his work cut out finding enough players fit enough to play, ahould imagine that they would have failed a breathalyser test.
Don't really have much to say about the football, sure it's been analysed to death, but a great turnout of TFCers to welcome Mr and Mrs KentuckyHotSpur - sorry if I miss anyone. Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor and BIL, Shades Shades , Spurshaker Spurshaker , 1882 1882 , Wellsey Wellsey , East Mid Yid East Mid Yid , tart tart . Happy to see you all , and have a great summer all. Safe journey home and hope to see you some time in the future.

How I see it.
Levy will give him 50m (plus anything he can get from sales) for new players this summer (and hold back the same amount for Jan 26 window in case things go really wrong) and then give him 10 - 12 games to prove he can coach a CL-chasing team.
Fails, and he goes the same way as ten Hag.

I went to Bilbao and it was fantastic , still on a high which seems normal to me . The post mortem can begin next week . Should still be a party today in my view . Some people seem incapable of enjoying the highs at all , or for the briefest of moments before gloom takes over . I’ve waited a very long time to feel like I did on Wednesday and if I can eek out another week of buzzing I will.

I have no intention of worrying about what a man :levywtf:
I have no control over might do in the next week or so . Enjoy it guys and gals might be another long wait with Baldy at the helm.

My take on next season is this.

We will likely need 66+ points to qualify for the CL, or twenty eight more points than this season. This equates to at least nine more wins than this season, Newcastle lost twelve games this season and qualified on the last game of this season due to others failing today.

Can any of us see us achieving this based on three or four more signings, while competing in four competitions, with the same system, tactics and manager?

Call me pessimistic, but I have seen nothing since January when Ange stated that we would see a different Spurs side when the injured players returned.

Our form, and results got worse.

If anyone disagrees, then flame away, but does Ange instill anyone here in TFC with confidence?

His final prezzer of this season was again a major embarrassment, I just wonder if Levy is as gullible as those in the media asking the questions.
Postecoglou is good for quotes and clicks. He will always get a pass from the media.

Just no.

We have to kick on now we have the chance. Get rid of deadwood, forget signing 'potential" for a season, bring in proven players.
Exactly

We need to clear a load of deadwood, not bring in more by giving Tel a permanent contract

He's just not the standard we desperately need. The one on one he had today should have been buried, but yet again his lame shot straight at the keeper was easily saved.

It's not quality. Brighton are not outmatching us for quality.

It is the fact that we have a manager who is not PL standard.
Sorry Vonne...you must be pissed like your squad...not outmatching us for quality??? Your manager and players shat their pants at the Amex when leading at half time and couldn't hold on to 2nil lead. You maybe right regards Ange but stick it on Levy and your board also. Bloom and Barber along with recruitment team seem to get it right most of the time. Actually glad you won EL and Utd didn't. Enjoy CL football and hope your higheracy get their fingers out and get the next manager right. Roberto De Zerbi will defo kick some arses and maybe the man for the job.

That won’t yield one good player. We need outside investment, this frugal sell to buy strategy needs torching. Go for it, for once

Couldn’t agree more - BHA players far more technically superior, yes well coached too but the ability on the ball is night and day vs our football terrorists

Loose cannon, Lidl Conte in that regard... You can't build anything with him because he'll fuck off in a couple of years
