Yep, it’ll be the league is more important, we have to rest players on Thursday to save them for Sunday.Usually we fuck off this cup as we are chasing top 4

Great OP.We go again. In the Europa League this time.
Our opponents for the night are Elfsborg. The 6 time Swedish champions are based in the city of Borås, and are currently coached by Oscar Hiljemark. A 32 year old who's managing career started in 2023. His peak as a player was with PSV and captaining the Sweden team that won the 2015 U21 euros.
Elfsborg are currently playing pre-season but did beat Nice 1-0 at home in the last round. And have taken some heavy scalps.
I have no idea how this one will go.
Elfsborg are also the last ever winners of the Intertoto cup.
This is as fine a match as any to start some of our better young players (Lankshear, Moore, Olusesi) to have them help with our injury crisis and points crisis. Our priorities have shifted now after today's debacle I think .

its really pretty obvious isnt itNot really
If we win this match or otherwise get through to Round 16, we have NO EL matches in February and have 2 consecutive weeks with no mid week matches, So players get some rest
Lose this match or otherwise fail to get through to Round 15 and we have 2 EL midweek matches in February - so no rest.
Get through to Round 16 and we get 2 mid week matches in March - by which time we should have a few players (maybe 8) back from injury. That's the time to make the decision on whether we need to prioritise any particular competition.
"that would be a bold appointment Mr. Levy"
So excited. It was my turn to buy the tickets for my ST network so I thought I'd change things up by moving us from our standing area in 451 to the "singing section" in 252.
Turns out the "singing section" doesn't sing. Doesn't have protection from the rain and it's forecast to absolutely tip down the entire night.
But I'm not going to complain because ifJimothyCF14 can do this every fucking week from deepest darkest Wales then show a bit of fucking willing.
The club might be on their knees but we arent COYS

Serious question. Would you take Europa trophy for relegation?
