50 years ago -2days i saw my 1st game at WHL.Season ticket holder since 87-88.
I don't reconise my club anymore.
Big match Revisted this week-end was Liverpool away 1985.Players playing for the shirt putting their bodies on the line.
Where are our so called leaders.

Get where you're coming from, but it's so bad at the moment, that I just want to win some games, as all these losses are draining, both for the players and for the supporters.

I'm seeing a lot of people here who went rethinking their season ticket renewal...I understand...
Y'all know I'm done with mine, I can't watch that shit in person anymore & I know it's not you're throwing your toys out of the pram it's that Spurs' Level of football is soo fukkin dire it's like pissing money down the drain for me.
Before I decided not to renew mine I had a long talk with all my football & non-football friends/family does the cost warrant witnessing this utter drivel in person? Do I go to all the matches it covers? Do I even care?
I'm saying think hard about it - I cannot face another season of being a 'hard core' fan anymore I'll go to games now & again but these last two seasons (I wonder what the common theme is???) have been the biggest drag on my monetary support for this club - the only reason I bought a current Kit was because of a bet I won because I went to the game & said Vs Man U while I was DIRECTLY behind the Goal :-

he scored now I have the ELITE one yknow with all the badges n shit plus they were 40% off...this club aint getting a fukkin penny out of me till I see actual progress...I even went to some of the pandemic games ffs...

Bright but still didn’t create much. They hardly put any decent crosses in or had good shots cutting or beat players. Surely Moore deserves a chance in the league? What happened to £165K / wk turbo? One of the most scandalous waste of money ever not just in football but any biz!

Paycheck over pride. Levy's instilled a poor mentality and low expectations in this club masked by hollow slogans and PR. More concerned about the executives and catering to the half-and-half tourists than honouring the club's football pedigree.
Prem football has also become passionless entertainment, which hardly helps. So many shades of grey. No surprise so many are flocking to lower league games where it feels like community still exists.

I remember something like 12-15 years ago, we were always having way more shots than our opponents, but they’d still nick points off us. Redknapp maybe? It was frustrating as fuck. Same today.

Exactly and the quality of the oppo has been poor. It’s not as if we have been tearing it up in the Europa either. For the most part we have played poorly. I remember the first two games where literally could have been spanked given the number great chances we gave away.
So we are in the place where a manager can stand up post game and say he planned to pull his Centre Backs at half time, irrespective of the situation, because he wanted to get some minutes into their legs.
And we pay for this shit ?
This is up there with the con trick of half the youth team being claimed to be first team squad members, when they should be in the under 23’s.
It’s horseshit of the highest order.
Romero has been to Argentina and back just last month. What’s he need minutes in his legs for ?
As for VDV. Guy can’t head the fucking ball and I am seriously confused as to why that’s not being discussed more. Danso is a better defender overall. And it gives me no joy typing that.

Indeed. Hopefully he will have found a bit of form for upcoming games.
Needs to play so he can improve- the point of having a vet as #2 is that you can bench them potentially endlessly without ruining their development. Kinsky is just gonna stagnate and regress without regular ball.
