Makes me laugh that we've been so anti-crossing most of the season, usually opting to recycle possession or drive the ball along the floor across the box, but today we've decided "do ya know what, we've got Richarlison in instead of the much bigger and stronger Solanke, and were up against a team who eats high balls for breakfast week in and week out, so fuck it lets just cross over and over and see how it goes".

The lack of critical thinking is astounding.

And you want to gamble 50 million on him when he's shown nothing of note?

Him only being 19 is not a good enough arguement

You can see signs of potential with Tel but on the other hand you look at Odobert, someone who cost circa half the reported Tel fee and see he’s to date a much better player than Tel.

If we by some miracle win the Europa then I would by all means sign Tel as a future prospect but if we don’t win it and funds are limited then we need to be going for a more experienced player and/or investing the money elsewhere (central midfield/Romero replacement).

We spend a lot of money to get nowhere. The teams beating us every week cost much less that our lot. The injuries excuse is well out of date now, so what else can Levy and Ange come up with to explain the ongoing dross?

Few of our players are good enough and the rest won't want to stay, knowing what it's like, season after season. Who could blame them for wanting to play at a well run football club (notice I said football club, not business).

Good post but those players are part of the dirge and have contracts.

It's the continued mistakes that are beyind baffling.

I am past caring too much but genuinely thought we wouldn't lose today.

Let's see but I am close to not backing us again this season, because it just seems like the act of insanity or heart over head.

Ok lads, hear me out here...

What if when Nuno said - "I'm going to make you proud", he knew, in order to fulfill this promise and essentially become our saviour, he had to get himself sacked, join a new club in the PL and be the one that finally gets rid of the false aussie messiah. I genuinely think he might be a time traveller.

On reflection I'd go 5 subs at HT :

Danso on for Romero
Bissouma on for Bentancur
Bergvall on for Sarr
Solanke on for Richarlison
Maddison on for Tel (move Odobert LW, Kulu RW and put Maddison at 10)
