The longer threads are when we lose. All those blaming Levy for everything that they can infect it with multiple posts. I do care about beating the Spammers, even if they got relegated I would still want to beat them more than say Palace but not as much as Woolwich or Chelsea.

Longer threads than this one for Brentford, Quarabag and Man United would say that statements incorrect. United a lot longer.

Bigger game - United or West Ham in your humble opinion??

Same here. West Ham are local to us and I grew up surrounded by Spurs, West Ham, and scum fans. As such I'll always care about beating them and wouldn't have it any other way. It's just that the scum and Chelsea elicit far more animosity!

First of all, great game of football yesterday. And of course a brilliant result.

But taking my health into consideration, we really need to sort out our defence.

Has anyone on here any idea what it's all about??? Is it the tactics, or is it the the players, or is it a combination?

I haven't done any deeper analysis, but to me it looks like the inverted fullbacks are a problem?! Both Porro and Udogie looks uncomfortable in those positions.

I think both of them could be world class as wingbacks tho.

You're wrong and everyone is laughing at you.

Own it.

I was genuinely contemplating a HT exit after half hour of this match.
Had that oh-so familiar feel to the game, lots of possession, not a lot of cutting edge, scary "defending" etc.

Glad it was 1-1 going in to the break and I stayed.

Not for me. I thought they were shit (and although we werent great) the first half was a decent match and I thought we'd beat them. Not in the way we did but once we got the equaliser there was only going to be one winner and that was evident before half time.

They were shit, but they were doing what I expected, which was to sit deep and narrow and keep us passing outside the box. The only real difference was the odd number of corners we won. And did nothing with.

It felt like they were giving them to us because they knew we wouldnt score and it was helping them reduce the pressure. Almost a defensive tactic!

I remember it feeling like that under Poch too when Eriksen could never beat the first man.

Contemplating leaving at half time when only one nil down seems more than a tad defeatist

Going away tomorrow, had a lot to do over the weekend. Faced with another hour of nothing plus a queue at the station etc, or nipping out early was a tough one.
I probably wouldn't have gone, but it was seriously on my mind.
Had they scored again I think it would have been inevitable. As shit as they were, we panicked so badly when they attacked, it could have happened.

Blimey I've never seen so many people melting after a 4-1 win 🫠

Not so much "melting" as "can't be arsed" attitude from me.
Time is limited. Can I really afford to waste it watching us huff and puff but do very little? That's where we were at about the half hour point. If that was a rare occurrence, it wouldn't matter.
The fact I finished off the post with "glad I didn't" should tell you I was happy with the result and that I stayed.
But you chose to focus on the first part. :wall:

Not sure what the allocation is for the carabao final now. 30k?

But you can forget the FA cup unless you go to a lot of cup matches.

Do you go to the Europa games?

I have done but not this season.
I have about 200 points I think.
Ropey league is tricky for logistics more than anything being Thursdays.
Champions league is not just good for the club, it's good for me too being a Wednesday.
