Match TSG 1899 Hoffenheim v Tottenham Hotspur | Thursday 23rd January | Rhein-Neckar Arena | 17:45

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Did we register Reguilion for EL? If not I’ll be very interested to see who’s starting LB for this game. Can’t shoehorn Gray in as we’ll be short a CB.

We may put out some truly weird Frankenstein-esque patchwork side.

We don’t have any choice with the defence, it will be Porro, Dragusin, Davies and Gray. Only questions are who plays at LB out of Davies and Gray and whether Austin or Forster will play in goal.

Can't see us getting anything here. Hoff are having a terrible season but they got a win yesterday albeit against the bottom side. I don't even know if we got 10 fit senior outfield players. Could be a right mashup. Getting the impression Romero and VDV don't fancy it right now. They're taking their time to come back
who can blame them - they obviously know if they turn out for this buffoon and his clown football they'll get injured again

Thursday is incredibly important as the EL is the only salvation for our shit season, and a route to CL football next year. We need to play conservatively and have the FBs be less ambitious offensively. I owudl take a draw now and hopefully we'll have players back for the last league game at home, where a win should see us finish in the top 8. Important we do not lose this one.

Another loss to a team desperately in need of a win as much as we are.

Then told by media that the club is awaiting the return of injured players and that this will all pass soon enough.

Don't train next 3 days just play the game
If Ange still has a job, this would be exactly my tactic.

Get the group in recovery/unity sessions together.

Remember this?

(Maybe not exactly this just before a game though!)

It’s now been demonstrated plan A is the only card Ange can play, so Team unity and biological recovery is our only hope?

Hear me out, we give 3 at the back another go with Drag on the right, Davies in the middle, Gray at LCB. Forgo having a dedicated LB, and instead we just give the extra responsibility to Gray, so he can bomb all the way forward, cut inside, rapidly track back for defensive duties.
Maybe have him cover LW as well.
Mate, after what we just witnessed, conceding three in a half to a team with about 3x that all season, you want to do the same but on Grays weaker side??!!

Just realised you must be taking the mickey…

Players who should not be starting are Kulu, Son and Porro !!!! Kulu and Porro have been poor for a while now and I think a rest would do them the world of good , Take Son as a super Sub but I wouldn't even put Kulu or Porro on the plane - the trouble is with Udogie injured and Spence and Reggie not even in the squad you just know Ange is going to Flog Porro to death!

We will lose this game.

We have been shockingly bad in the EL this season. Not as bad as in the FA Cup I grant you.

Qarabag at home was actually a pretty good performance. Otherwise, pretty dire.
