If I'm being totally honest I didn't really even think about the CL qualification, partly because I just wanted to see us lift a trophy, and partly because I thought we'd get completely battered - but does winning the EL mean we go in seeded? Should get a decent draw and could make the KO's

We won’t. The rules have changed since this season. Now the pots are only based on UEFA points, not on League winners etc. It doesn’t matter as much though, since we’ll play 2 teams of each pot either way.

Ah Okay, I thought Europa League winners got a top seeding but you are right
The 36 teams will be divided into four pots of nine teams each based on their UEFA club coefficient, except for the Champions League title holders, who are automatically placed as the top seed in pot 1.
We are currently 27th in the rankings but looking at the teams above us there are a few clubs who will have to go through qualifying (Rangers, Feyenoord) and a few others who will not even qualify (only one of Juve, Roma or Lazio can qualify) and both RB Leipzig and Milan won't be qualifying and of course neither will United. It would also be good if Chavs didn't get in because they are ranked 7th... we might just sneak into Pot 2 but like you said it doesn't really matter... you still have to play two opponents from each pot.

Spurs as EL Champions are in Pot 1 (along with other most highly ranked teams), so when drawn for League phase (replaced group phase) we are drawn against one other Pot 1 team and 2 teams from each of Pots 2, 3 and 4.

Aim has to be as a minimum to get to Last 16, quarter finals, semi finals or ideally finals and winners !
