Beating a team we used to never beat 3 times in one season is scarcely believable. Losing the 4th, in a cup final, is predictable.

I'd still send the reserves and kids and get the team that is going to play out there a good 5 or 6 days before the final. Get them properly training out there. We didnt go out early enough for the CL final and our preparations were too short.
The problem is the timing - 10 days before the new kick off time is a joke. Some of these fans will have loads planned around that weekend that they now either have to change or relist their tickets - if loads have to relist then will theirs get bought - Friday games are hardly the most popular. I do get the Villa fans gripe on this one.

If we get through on Thursday then the next 2 league matches just shouldn’t exist for the club - you are right, fly them out on the Saturday after the Thursday if we get through and play kids against Palace and Villa - Palace will be resting loads themselves so it could still be a tight match, Villa - who cares, play Doris the fucking tea lady.
