Apart from 2019 , we’ve not been great in CL in the past five years. Fewer points available for lower level competitions ( in which we didn’t excel either ) , zero points last year ….. we’ve been gradually slipping down the rankings , unfortunately.

We've got 1 season where we weren't in Europe, and another where we lost to NS Mura and Portuguese Taços (since relegated) on our way to crashing out of a Conference League Group Stage. In the same timeframe, Frankfurt played Rangers in a European final.

Ohhh pinch me, fantastic away trips and Roma aside, about the easiest home games imaginable.
Should be winning at least 5 and 6 wins is also very likely. Only game I do t fancy us in is Galatasaray away - be one of those games we simply don’t turn up.

Rangers will be up for it against us - an English club plus Ange being ex Celtic
Roma - tricky. On paper the best team we will face, although have not started the season well
Ferencvaros - Hungarian side of whom I know nothing, hopefully we send people to look at them before we play them
Galatasaray - Possibly our most difficult tie .... away .... and very vocal fan base
Other teams - should be ok
Overall 5 wins out of 8 should be more than doable if we don't have a large injury list and rotate teams.
Tomorrow we hope to see the fixture list telling us the order of matches - and we can see which opponents we play in PL before and after the ties !
