1984Biggest priority this season is winning this competition imo!
We have history of winning it too- we won the inaugural edition in 1972 and then won it again in 1983.

Very pleasantly surprised by the optimism in the poll. Don’t have time to read 37 pages right now, so knowing the forum be good to get a feel for if these are genuine or sarcastic votes?
For the record mine is genuine. We should absolutely go for this competition, the new format sounds fun, and why not us? (That’s a rhetorical question, please don’t give me an in depth analysis, I just want to be excited for a bit.)
Budapest is supposed to be a great city for tourists, so Fenercvaros or however you spell it.Where do we think the best trips will be then? Went ibrox for pre season a couple years ago so not too bothered. Do we reckon 275ish points will be good enough for any aways. Don't fancy Turkey
Ah yes, Ibrox, the former home of rangers. Is that not where NewCo play their home games? The good news for Clement, his squad and the fans is that Rangers will be back at Ibrox Stadium for the start of the group stage next month after using Hampden as their temporary home at the start of the campaign.

Been before, it’s a great place, loads to do and relatively inexpensive.Budapest is supposed to be a great city for tourists, so Fenercvaros or however you spell it.
Depends on the tourists, I know a couple that look like they are of Middle Eastern origin that were refused entry to more than one restaurant. In some ways Hungary is in a bad place right now.Budapest is supposed to be a great city for tourists, so Fenercvaros or however you spell it.
No idea what NewCo is.Ah yes, Ibrox, the former home of rangers. Is that not where NewCo play their home games?
Do we need this crap. Rangers and Celtic has nothing to do with football. This Rangers Celtic thing. There's a few dancing around it, hiding their EDL sympathies I think too, and some perhaps too young and therefore maybe too ignorant of the political issues to know.
Tottenham were one of the first groups to have an anti NF group in the late 70s. You'd think that would be natural given our following of white working class seeing their interests as being alongside the Irish working class and African Caribbean population of north London.
With the decline of class politics, sadly identity politics has held sway the last 25 years or so. I blame New Labour for that as much as the Tories.
Regarding the beanie hats, I remember a fella getting chased by another Tottenham fan near 7 sisters for wearing an Aberdeen one; his crime was that ' what have we got to do with 'red'!?'
I made the naiive error of celebrating mabbutt scoring an early winner for us at Ibrox early 80s, pre season, as my Scottish uncle and cousin either side of me ducked for cover.
Let's call it right. Rangers side with the establishment, the Queen as was, but also Israel, South Africa, any right wing country and movement.
Celtic, being the club of Irish immigrants, side with the ANC, the Palestinians etc. Also the Irish paramilitaries that fought for some sort of democracy after civil rights were beaten off the streets. The Rebels Choice.
some Tottenham, on here as well, side with the establishment. I began to see this element at WHL in the Miller testimonial. Some Spurs near me, went in the Park Lane to attack some Chelsea, pissed that they thought they had the rights on Rangers.
Fast forward to now, a sizeable element of Tottenham associate with this Football lads alliance right wing grouping. There's a quite well known ex Tottenham hooligan that I have respectfully conversed with, maybe fought with, that runs his own you tube these days , who became a gun runner for the UDA, done a 5 stretch, ended up on political gigs with the chavs as thought the FLA were too soft.
Too many keyboard warriors, still fighting an online war from their leafy, hardly on the map, villages, singing 'no surrender' during the national anthem when England play.
FFS we've had a peace settlement over here for 25 years, however uneasy it is at times and in places, it's lasted. Who the fuck are you no surrendering too?!
I live in Strabane last 10 years, one of the main dissident areas, will slag off those still fighting a war that's over, as do most here. Sadly some Tottenham with their anti Celtic comments, are still fighting it from safe ground.
I will call out any Celtic fan who held up pizza boxes so before any right wing cunt comes back at me, do you call out Rangers fans for their 'bouncy bouncy ; song, mimicking a poor lad murdered by being bounced on by loyalist thugs whilst walking home in the Ardoyne, in full view of the RUC sat in their cars? If not then shut up.
As for the recent match between us and Rangers, both the AFC and CSC were in attendance, Louden pub got attacked by our barmies, ASC site said of all the firms present 2 years back, the Rangers ICF were the least impressive.
We do?Nah. Most (all?) Spurs fans of that inclination detest Celtic with a passion.
Sorry but no. I'm not Spurs because I have any desire to pretend to be a freedom fighter or wang on about Palestine, nor am I Spurs because I have some loyalty to the Queen or King or want to prattle on about the UDF.This Rangers Celtic thing. Is That's the last time they played an English team. If so expect it to be very hostile they won't have a clue how to police it.Ferencvaros played Millwall back when Millwall qualified for Europe through being runners up in the FA Cup. I know a few of them that went out there and they said it was like a war zone, with the home fans attacking them at every turn, with the Metro system being particularly sketchy
A headache I would very much welcome. Hopefully we’ve done the business in the first 6 games and can rotate a little in the last 2Just realised January will be ridiculous this season, 2 of the EL fixtures are now contested at the back end of Jan, as well as FA cup 3rd round on Jan 11, league cup semi first leg on the 6th, not unfeasible to play 9-10 matches in a month.
