We should beat bodo/glimpt but i am worried about athletic bilbao and not just because they’d be at home. They are a well drilled team with nico and iñaki williams in it. Sancet is really good too
I would hold your horses on that one. We were given the home / hosts dressing room which was much bigger and far more comfortable for the CL final and then uefa switched that for some made up reason just to make the Scousers feel more comfortable.

Above is the ranking after EL group stages - Atletico, ManU and Spurs were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th position with the outlier being Bodo/Glimpt in 9th position.
So the group stages did a fair job in sorting out the better teams : I'm glad Bodo/Glimpt knocked out Lazio though.
The new format has worked out superbly well.
Agreed, I was a bit sceptical before the group stages but its worked pretty well in EL and I think CL too. Ironically club finishing top after both group stages knocked out - Lazio in EL case.
