nah, I couldn't handle the idea of losing to them.

all things being equal, we're better but it's a major european final, the narrative will be they're winners and we're not, the pressure on the players would be too much for them.

wheras Bilbao at home would be favourites and pressure on them, they're a decent side but we're capable of beating them.

like you say - Bodo first.

Don’t really pay attention to narratives. From a percentages point of view, we are a better side than Utd and beat them comfortably twice (3 times including league cup?) with different amounts of injuries in both games.

Bilbao at home would be the favorite against any team in the EL. Tbh I think they will handle UTD pretty comfortably as well.

would prefer Bilbao myself - fuck playing United in a final, we have seen this movie many times in semis and finals with other English clubs.
