1962-63 Cup Winners' Cup: No semi-final stage; Tottenham went from quarter-finals to the final.
1981-82 Cup Winners' Cup: Tottenham were knocked out in the quarter-finals, not semi-finals.
1973-74 UEFA Cup: Tottenham were eliminated in the round of 16, not semi-finals.
I exaggerated, there is some pride in having the gusto to win the cup. But
Champions of europe while almost fighting relegation is not an indicator of a prestigious club
Club coefficient points, used to rank clubs in competitions, are calculated as
- 2 points for every win and 1 point for a draw
- 5.25 points for finishing 4th in League phase
- 1 point for getting through to each of round of 16, quarter finals and semi finals
So far Spurs have got 25.25 co-efficient points so far for this season's EL campaign,, which by comparison is only just short of the 26 points we received for getting to finals of CL in 2019.
And every chance Spurs will beat the number of coefficient points we gained in 2019 this season !!

I think about this so many times a day reading some of the posts on this site.
Why do keep insisting that there wasn't semi-final round in the 1963 Cup Winners Cup? Spurs played OFC Beograd and Atlético beat Nürnberg. It's not like it's hard to find the info.

For domestic away games the club claim that ( on average ) 20% of the entire allocation goes to premium/ sponsors/ players etc. Would imagine it will be the same ( or worse ) for this fixture.
