It’s a good idea for generating a bit of atmosphere also if one part of the ground is loud it’ll encourage others to get involved.Anyone else on here in the 'designated' singing section tonight...?
I really hope it works!! Should be fun.
(Although you could argue that the entire ground should be a designated singing section....
But you don't always get what you want!)
Yeah, the seeding for the knock-outs will depend on where you finish.Prob asked before but Is there any tangible benefit to finishing 1st over 8th? Any sort of seeding advantage for the rd of 16 or anything?
Thank youYeah, the seeding for the knock-outs will depend on where you finish.

There will be a draw for the play-off round and a draw for the RO16. So as an example 15th will get drawn either 17th or 18th and 16th place will face whoever they don't get on the other side of the bracket. And then in the RO16, 1st or 2nd will draw to see which of the winners (of 15/16/17/18) they face which will also tell them which side of the bracket they're on with the other team ending up on the other side of the bracket. Once the RO16 draw is done, the path to the final should be laid out. The finishing position will also affect who plays home/away when. 1st/2nd would play the return leg at home all the way to the final should they make it.
Reasonably easy selection based upon a compromise of resting players and fielding teams of a similar strength to other EL teams :
1. Start players not involved or came on as subs v ManCity - Bentancur, Johnson, Bergval, Werrner, Gray (probably as LB as Udogie may have been injured at end of ManCity game)
2. Need to play about 50% of outfield players who started v Man City - no alternative options with 2 CB's (Davies, Dragusin) or Solanke (but he only played about 25 mins in international break), or Porro.
Madison had a complete rest in international break but Kulusevski played both games for Sweden so might need a rest otherwise rest v Fulham.
So that gives us :
Vicario/ForsterRested/bench : Forster, Udogie, Kulusevski (need goalscorer rested for Fulham), Son (as Kulusevski), Sarr plus a few youngsters awaiting first team debut
Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Gray
Bergval, Bentancur, Maddison
Johnson, Solanke, Werner
Against Fulham we are likely to also see Spence, Romero (3 weeks after foot injury playing for Argentina) and Lankshear in squad.
Richarlison and Odobert not expected back this side of Christmas, Van de Ven maybe back mid december, Moore unknown
