Stupid gimmick to be honest.
They took 15yrs to decide whether goal line tech was needed, yet all of a sudden, they have introduced whipped cream.
Walls encroaching was hardly a massive blight on the game.
How about they sort out once and for all:
1) "Ball to hand"......does it have to be deliberate to be a pen?
If so, handballs in the box should be a mandatory red, surely.
2) "Interfering with play".......onside or offside? Cant keep changing it.
IMO every player on the pitch is interfering with play, so off is off.
3) "Professional foul"....standard red.....so why the yellows sometimes?
4) "Booked for celebrations"......need I say more
But well done FIFA, why address the real issues....you can now make millions from selling spray to football leagues.
I think it's a good innovation. Wasn't MLS one of the first who brought it in, doubtless to ill-judged laughter from many.
