I thought Levy or any of the directors, like Munn fucking hell being the Chief Football Officer, would have should have could have come down hard on Ange and the squad to advance at all cost. But no. Yes I agree with the atmosphere, it was a bit hit 'n miss, which was understandable, but don't agree with the booing.

This is it for me. I guess the plan at the start of the season was to add these talented young players around a spine of Vicario, Romero, VDV, Bissouma and Bentancur, and Son and Solanke.
Obviously we’ve lost the majority of that spine for a key part of the season, but it was never enough to begin with. We knew Romero and VDV were injury prone. We needed a senior CB last sumer who was comparable in quality to them.
The spine of the midfield is just not good enough. Bissouma has been sleep walking since last season. Both of them have let the club down off the pitch and have not shown any desire to make up for it on it.
Adding Solanke did make a real difference, but Son is declining day by day and there’s just not enough up there.

I actually thought the players looked like they were trying more than normal and they were just fucked over by terrible tactics. I posted a video yesterday of them going into the changing room and they didn’t even look like they wanted to be there so out was a surprise they tried even as much as they did. They’re fed up losing every week playing the same shite tactics and game plan that’s leaving them hung out to dry.
To all intents and purposes we started the season with a squad of 17 senior outfield players.
I’m really Not sure when the last time was we had that small a squad. Was a disaster waiting to happen. Negligent.
I feel all of those that claimed that we didn't need anymore signings and were telling me that the likes of Mikey Moore were ready to take the step up should delete their accounts. Apologising first.

Yeah, the squad building last summer was nonsensical. I dunno if Lange is incompetent, but my feeling is Levy thought he could recreate the birth of Poch’s squad, with a version 2.0.
Essentially that squad came about with adding some talented youngsters to the detritus of AVB’s squad, and letting go of experienced players not willing or able to go along with Poch’s methods.
There was simply not the quality in this squad the one in the detritus of the squad that Poch inherited. The likes of Lloris, Walker, Rose, Verts, Dembele, Eriksen are just light years ahead of most of our players.
The other thing that I think Levy didn’t factor in is the strength of the league. In 2015, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga could still compete with the PL on fees and wages. Now lower level PL sides can take players away from Milan or Juve. The strength in depth of the league is huge. You need seasoned, high-performing players to compete.
He really won't play the academy. I have come to that conclusion now. Through an injury crisis and just ran 'senior' players into the ground instead of giving the youth mins was insanity. Hell. Arguably our best player currently in Spence probably wasn't even gonna see a minute of game time if not for injuries and he is lightyears better than our other FBs. We are going to lose so much young talent very soon and that's just a shame

Started season with fazio there as back up CB too 28.
He wasn’t relying on kids. Dele the outlier at 19. Harry was also 22. Made 30+ appearances the season before in the premier league.
We’ve got so many inexperienced players in our first 11 this season. . It’s not surprising the situations we see on the pitch.
