Management Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

ManUre were just as bad last year at times, we saw in the cup final that they couldn't find their arse with both hands, they had a terrible manager and the squad was pathetic.

The difference is that they had the sense to sack their manager when it was clear and to make some signings. We tried to pinch pennies and refuse to acknowledge reality. That's why they turned their fortunes and we did not

They did spend a lot on good signings too and got rid of some players.

Our leadership is adverse to ever admitting, even to themselves, that they've got it wrong. Their comments about pride in their not "panic buying" betray them.

They felt reacting to the situation would be wrong, because their decisions were right, and that they'd be proved out in time.

Pride and incompetence are always a deadly combination.

A man can be consumed by pride and still succeed if he is good. A man can be personally incompetent but still find success if he heeds the wisdom of a multitude of counselors.

We are cursed with a bunch of knobs who are usually wrong but never in doubt.

The trouble is that we had a CEO and DoF insisting that our shit manager was worth sticking with.
If I was the owners, I wouldn't have given that trio of twats any money to spend either.

If (when) we get relegated I would hope the so called supporters Trust and change groups will be targeting this guy to publicly explain his position at the club and the decisions made by him. Or requesting his immediate resignation.

I’d expect that as a minimum.

I know he probably isn’t doing this on purpose but I just don’t want any gooners at this club. Be it him, Frank and his assistant, the guy who got fired for laughing at us.

Our culture is on the floor and we need people like Pleat or Hoddle in and around the club, not as manager of course but those who have the clubs best interests and also have some proven competence.

Surely him & Lange had a plan on who would replace Tudor if it didn't work
they didn't have a plan when they sacked Frank, so wouldn't you think any sensible boss would think if this new guy doesn't work were do we go ?

Vinai watching his Thomas Frank appointment knowing it will come good in time.

Vinai when he gets told by his bosses he has to sack his main man Frank and get in a new manager.

So he hires Igor Tudor.

This should be done regardless we relegated or not. The commercial side of the things seemingly could be tanking along with our poor performance, so he has a fucking lot to answer for.

Important to realise with Vinai that Levy was a control freak and was the one who hired Vinai. That meant that Levy specifically chose someone who he could control, who was meek and passive. No way Levy chose anyone who would question his authority. He wanted a weak gimp.

And then the Lewis family sacked Levy. Vinai takes control, and this is what we are left with.

It’s a disaster. Levy micromanaged the club and I think what has happened is the Lewis family have now realised that Levy was actually the one doing everything all along and that the likes of Vinai, Lange are not up to the job and are basically drowning. Removing Levy has exposed their incompetence.

Levy still holds a 30% stake in ENIC while the Lewis family own the other 70%. He might have stepped down but he is still one of the most influential people in terms of club ownership.

infuriating that this twat is in charge. So indecisive over sacking managers (a trait he showed at Woolwich too) and will leave it till we’re all but relegated before he gets rid of Tudor. Weak.
