Just been out for for dinner with a friend who has a mate who knows Vinai and apparently he’s oblivious to the amount of fans who we’ll lose through a drop of members and attendance of fans if we get relegated. They don’t get it and think we will all still renew. Hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.

He probably didn’t think the Jan window was a biggy and we could easily roll into the summer.

This club hasn’t had ‘football people’ running the club for a while. I suppose we can say Paratici but he was still average at best. David Pleat would be a good example of someone who just gets it. Not all ex footballers are football people, I mean Merson is barely alive but the instinct of who is a good player, a good manager, what a balance squad looks like we don’t have. Lange and Vinai I would trust you a fan before them. They are basically accountants playing as football managers.

We need someone with instinct and vision like other clubs have. Data is important but we can get scouts for that.

Ironically football becoming more of a business rather than a competitive, emotional sport, has kept Levy in a job for the past 25 years and seen people employed with business acumen rather than football knowledge.
These preferences, especially with a wealthy club like THFC has resulted in poor footballing decisions and therefore a huge waste of money!

Irony at it's best!

Community agree. .

Mad as it sounds: DL set the standard.

The ultimate irony would be for the Club to go down under those brought in to run it now that he’s gone .

Madness in its highest form , whatever angle you look at it from .

does he & lange know (or think they know) why Tudor failed ?
without understanding why it didn't work they could make the same mistake again this time

They won't have a clue. Lange will be staring at the spreadsheet with a vacant expression on his gormless face because it won't have sunk in that intangibles matter.

He and Vinai are equally responsible for his results. They tried to be smart by appointing a manager with zero Premier League experience, it backfired and it may very well cost us relegation.

The consequences of their failure should be termination of their employment. The issue is that they don't really answer to anyone, so they are free to keep fucking things up. They're likely too ignorant to realise that they're in over their heads and will continue to make excuses for their failings instead of accepting blame.

If I fuck up at work, I put my hands up, admit fault and learn from it. It never seems to happen at this club though.

Do they even know why they hired him?

Genuine question - because it seems very much like they just took Paratici's choice off his dusty notepad after they he left.

And its hardly like Paratici had a good eye for a manager....

It seemed clear as day they had no fucking clue whatsoever what they were doing then - so how can we expect them to have enough awareness to understand why it didnt work?
