Management Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Lange could be put back into roles he can have some effectiveness in.

No matter how you dress it, we have a CEO that is a gooner and has been highly at fault for where we are in his only role
Fair points, but Vinai is a powerless figurehead whereas Lange has real influence over the makeup of the team.

I do think Lange is somewhat underrated, he's had some good moves here and at Villa, but his overall vision for the squad is lacking and not fit for purpose, plus he's in the way of empowering someone better.

But he's replaced Daniel Levy, who was apparently "ultimately responsible and affecting every aspect of the club"

spock you dont say GIF

Jordan has interesting perspective as a former chairman as opposed to the former players and managers views that most pundits bring, but he's a very obnoxious broadcaster who often doesn't make his points very well
Really?

What gives you that impression?

My opinion of him and a lot of my mates who watch/listen to TalkSport is completely the opposite.

He doesn’t suffer fools gladly, but to be fair to him he’s had to contend with some right bell ends like Keown.

He's clearly flawed as he's on TalkSport and not a yacht, having lost pretty much all his money. I think he knows the game well though from a position of experience.

His main issue is talking intellectually on a platform aimed at reform voting builders

The fact that Charrington put out the statement and not him says a hell of a lot.
Yeah that did cross my mind.

I suspect if the Lewis' wanted to make it clear the message came from the very top. Charrington is essentially the direct mouthpiece of the owners, whereas Vinai is one more step removed and wasn't actually behind the sacking of Levy and the decisions made last summer. Given the content of the statement it does kinda make sense for it to come from Charrington rather than Vinai, even if it makes Vinai look a bit weak.

Levy was the excecutive chairman, head of the board and basically ran the entire show. Vinai is CEO (we didn't have a CEO before) and has far less control than Levy ever did.

The whole structure is totally different now. We're not just run by one bloke anymore. Although Vinai has done a shit job with the power he does have.
