a 16 year old playing out of position is showing johnson up for what he is.
We look good going forwards, but the same issues are there defensively - often leaving just the centre backs there and losing the ball in midfield and not convincing on set pieces.

Is it me or do they get the ball forward much quicker than we've been used to?
Obviously, the real test will be in the PL, but nothing wrong with enjoying a performance like that, no matter who plays or who the opposition are.

There's fundamental misunderstanding among some fans about what Brennan is expected to do.
Brennan is not supposed to be some dribbling, creative genius off the flank. He's doing exactly what Ange wants his wingers to do.
Commit to runs behind the opposing defence, play in crosses and cut backs, and make runs in the box to attempt to tap it in on the far post.
Brennan is doing what is being asked of him and people are dunking on him for it.
johnson basically missed a sitter in the first half! its not about that! its about all round play and having an actual football brain you plonker!
