I saw a clip were Scholes tried to downplay the whole "Lads, it's Tottenham" thing and go on about how we are a hard team to play and such.

Which of course, ignores the fact that Scholes more or less said "lads, it's Tottenham" before the game.
 
I’ve just left work in Hoxton, currently walking up kingsland road to Tottenham and I’m still tearing up looking at videos, wtf does football do to us man. All the cars beeping as I’m walking in my spurs shirt. This is our day everyone, love ❤️

True....the writing is barely legible though if you could repost please.

I was at the game, only got back late last night via Bordeaux and Paris (trains) after driving from Bilbao.

I fancied us for a whole number of reasons, aside from the footballing ones (we are a slightly better poor team than them) but as a club and fanbase it definitely meant more and that was reflected in the noises from both managers leading into this and also reflected in Bilbao generally and at the ground from both sets of fans. As an aside some of the United fans were very aggressive, arrogant and ignorant and any trouble or verbals I saw was initiated by them.

We won the game (and the 2 previously) playing to a large extent Jose ball which is never a nice watch but I get why Ange did it and I'm glad he did because we weren't winning shit any other way. As you've said previously, this isn't a strong playing squad and without Mad and to a lesser extent Lucas we were pretty devoid of creativity.

If Angeball is gonna work we need better players though and so will any other manager wanting to play a possession based passing game with a high press who can challenge.

I was going to say the same thing.
Obviously the league position isn’t acceptable for a club of our standing, but what if, just what if Ange is telling the truth about sacrificing the league to go balls deep for a trophy to break the “bridesmaid/4th place trophy” cycle?
The players will go into next season as winners of a big trophy. They have experienced what it feels like and the love they got for that win. The energy, the passion of the fans.
The feel good factor.
Runner up in anything is first placed loser.
We’ve experienced enough of that thank you very much.
Lovely to be top of the pile for once.
