Jesus I'm the opposite. Just assume we'll find a way to lose and United will find a way to win.

Even if we were 2-0 up and playing them off the park, I'd still expect United to comeback or us to bottle it.

I know we have a good chance. But I just can't see us winning. The history and step is too big for us. Kulusevski and Maddison huge losses too. I can just see it all going wrong on the big stage as per usual.

I dunno how any spurs fan who'd been through all the set backs over the years can be confident. It just always goes wrong.

Can't go through life thinking that we're gonna fuck up every final, because that means you think we'll never win a trophy again, football doesn't work like that - at some point it has to be our time, there's teams that have proved this already this season.

That's us as fans and those of us who have been here time and time again will possibly feel similar.

The players haven't got the years of pain behind them, and as much as it is always about the fans, because we are the constant, it's also the players' moment to create their own memories.

It's because we're a bigger club. A higher profile club. With a bigger fanbase.
If Chelsea or Woolwich had gone 17 years without a trophy it would be the same.

I am not nervous in the slightest I have to say. I can't quite put my finger on it but because we have been so bad this season its taken expectation and the weekly pain away from me with the 20 plus defeats and replaced that with numbness and apathy so I feel like this is a huge bonus and opportunity against an awful Man Utd team. They will be thinking the same of course but if we go and be professional our back 4 and Biss / Bent can give us the base to win this game.
I think we are going to do it.

I really hope so bro. I'm just preparing myself for an awful fall. I can't even allow myself to dream as the pain of us losing will just be 10 times worse.

I admire anyone who's dreaming. I'm too nervous and I've been hurt too many times to allow myself
